If I am 12 and can re-choose my career path…

Beware: Weird strange post ahead.

Always had this daydream that if it’s possible to return to 12 years old whilst keeping the current mental state, would be more than glad to re-chart career path. Some of the things that I would really wanna do:

1. Green Engineering
With so much of global warming and go green hype/fad going around, it’s a gold mine out there. Just need to start a company, invent and build some stuff that is practical, save the environment, and volaa, sell the company after that.

Idea – an environment-friendly lunch box to replace the polystyrene ones.

2. Be a farmer
Often mistaken as a low earning job, that’s old school agriculture. Quite to the contrary, modern agriculture is huge prospect. Trick is to think big; imagine 100 acres of food produce, flowers, and deco plants.

Alright, will admit that side reason is because I love greenies.

3. Lone wondering artisan
Guitar strapped at back, wondering and performing gigs on streets.

4. Health food cafe
Trust me, people of late are a lot more health conscious. People know what about calorie and a good diet. (Or maybe it’s just me)

Café serves delicious healthy food at reasonable prices. Also has good homey ambience – think Starbucks. May have a gym next door.

5. Take up pro wrestling
Just kidding

6. Guest house at beach
Fly to KK, sail to one of the many beautiful beaches, set up a guest house.

Provide services like renting (beach ball, snorkeling gear, books), easy food, spa/massage, and live music (only pop and à la Hawaii allowed).

On the other hand, I’ll be lying all day on a hammock reading a book, with a jug of pineapple juice beside. Will go for occasional snorkeling in between. Oh, and will have a companion dog along, he’s called Ajax.


Alas, it’s a little too late. Fate is rather sealed. Future will involve lots of numbers, leather shoes, and ties. Blahh… boring!
